new site for upcoming agility trial
On May 1st & 2nd Mid-Hudson Kennel Association will hold its annual AKC Agility Trial at our new location, HITS in Saugerties, NY where the Grand Prix Equestrian events are hosted.
As many of you already know, HITS is a meticulously maintained show area, with many acres of rolling green grass surrounding the many show arenas. We will have the use of one of the arenas that is covered by a very dog-friendly surface. Also, there are numerous bathrooms available for our use and open-air buildings providing protection from sun or rain. This 2-day agility event will feature canines from many states competing for prizes and titles. This year, the event is open not only to all purebred registered dogs, but also, for the first time mix breed or "All American". Everone hopes for clear skies and dry weather for a wonderful experience for dogs, handlers and spectators. Barry Rosen will be the on-site photographer.
